Our Story
mpw productions is directed by Mark Prentice-Whitney, filmmaker and event video producer specialising in live music and filmed classical performances.
Drawing on a background in classical music, both as a performer and producer, Mark prides himself on quality audio engineering and editing, with an instinctive appreciation of where the eye of the audience is drawn for camera direction and intuitive video editing based on the tempo and direction of the musical narrative.
Based in London, Mark has experience of filming, editing and producing video capture for a number of ensembles, artists and festivals including Benyounes Quartet, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, percussionists O Duo, pianists Michael McHale and Peter Breiner, Mithras Trio, Kensington Olympian Singers, as well as various events for Folkestone New Music Festival.
